My Vision
Mercury is a very strong boat built of Aluminum and with all of the equipment required for a long journey. Our Atlantic crossing took 20 days from Gran Canarias to St.Lucia in the Caribbean. We were well provisioned for our journey and enjoyed gourmet cooking all the way. While the boat has a full compliment of b&g electronics it can be sailed with just wind.
Sailboat Mercury
Mercury was built in Les Sables d'Olonne in 2016. She was equipped for world cruising, our first adventure was sailing down the West coast of France, Spain and Portugal, through the Straits of Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean. we laid her up in Southern Spain and returned in the spring to sail upto the Balearic Islands and on to Marseille for the winter. We spent the next couple of years cruising in the Western Mediterranean and in 2019 headed back West to the Canary Islands to prepare for the Atlantic Crossing.
